How does Invisalign work?
Using 3-D computer imaging technology as well as 3-D printing, your dentist will help create multiple custom made, clear aligners that will be adjusted throughout your treatment. Each set of aligners will work to move your teeth at a slow and gradual pace, and when they have completed their repositioning, will be replaced by the next series until desired appearance is achieved.
Is it painful?
Invisalign should never be painful! Many patients say that they felt discomfort getting used to the aligners for the first few days, and noted feeling pressure in their teeth as the aligners go to work. This is totally normal, and will accompany any orthodontic treatment used to reposition teeth.
What is the benefit of Invisalign over braces?
