Helping You Educate Your Pregnant and Breastfeeding Patients
MotherToBaby welcomes the opportunity to partner with you on educating your patients about exposures during pregnancy and breastfeeding. We’d also love to partner with you on improving the quality of medication safety information by enrolling your patients in our observational research studies. Please consider referring your patients to our exposure information service and/or our pregnancy studies research program.
We Provide Exposure Information to Patients
Our experts are trained in assessing and evaluating risks to pregnancy and breastfeeding outcomes from medications and other exposures, including but not limited to maternal health conditions, infections and vaccines, substances of abuse, and workplace exposures. We conduct a thorough review of the current scientific literature to provide evidence-based information to your patients in a way they will understand. You can refer your patient for exposure information using our Patient Referral Form. If you would prefer to interact directly with one of our teratogen information specialists by phone, text, email, or chat, visit our Ask An Expert page.
Pregnancy Studies
As a health provider who treats patients of reproductive age, you may be as frustrated as we are by the lack of data regarding the effects of many medications on pregnancy outcomes. Our rigorously designed observational studies aim to provide this much-needed information, ultimately helping you and your patients better navigate treatment decisions and other complex issues during pregnancy. Your patient will not be asked to take or change any medications. People self-enroll, so after you refer a patient nothing further is required from you. You can refer your patient to our studies using our online study referral form. If you would prefer to speak directly to a member of our research team, call 877.311.8972.
